WaitMate does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information.
The extension operates entirely within your browser. It does not track your browsing history, your keystrokes, or any data you enter on websites. We do not use cookies or any tracking technologies to follow your activity across the web.
WaitMate only uses technical identifiers (like the website hostname) locally in your browser to provide the "Page-Aware Messaging" feature. This data never leaves your device and is not saved anywhere.
WaitMate does not share any data with third-party services. There are no analytics, no advertisements, and no external tracking scripts included in the extension.
WaitMate requires the following permissions to function:
<all_urls>: Used to show the loading overlay on top of pages.tabs: Used to detect when a page has finished loading so the overlay can be removed.WaitMate is designed to be lightweight and secure. It does not modify website content or inject malicious scripts. It only places a temporary visual overlay during the loading phase.
